In this race, Irad went from the 3 path to the rail, causing the incident.
Keeps happening, the reason for this is the Stewards have allowed it to get to this point. Two aggressive riders, that have mixed it up before. Irad tried to sell one earlier, now this. What is this, the 3rd or 4th time these two have been involved in a inquiry this meet? Been building for a while now. In this particular instance, from the piece I did see, - looked like Paco got silly and emotional, and Irad was in the right. I know it's warm in Florida, but there have been some questionable rides of late.Īlso, I like athletes and jockeys (like Paco) who put up a fight, and aren't out there to concede a victory or play part in a rival's highlight reel, but are competitive. That's one piece of one race, and there is the rest of the race + the recent meet/card/races where competition and frustration could have been getting out of control. To make matters a bit worse, the was probably a better horse, simply proving best, and relatively highly regarded 3yo (Is Known Agenda a horse that beat Greatest Honour?).

WTF? If Paco was on that Top Gun Tommy? I can see Irad losing his cool over those antics. I didn't study that race live, and I just watched a couple times on 'mute'. Where was Suff when you need him? He could have broken that up quickly.
